Help 10 humans handle their messy consumer lives during 10 years. It's both a puzzle and a (basic) management game. If you're lazy or unorganized, well, you'll be stuck. Life is not an easy thing. :)

  • ARROWS: move
  • ENTER: validate

La Fée Electronique (the Electronic Fairy) is a game developed during the "Wasted Resources 2" game jam hosted by radiobush and Bucket-full-games in April 2022.

Consumption and e-waste recycling rates are loosely (very loosely) based on: The Global E-waste Monitor 2020: Quantities, flows and the circular economy potential (V. Forti et al.)

Everything is available on GitHub, but you'll have to understand French to read the code. :)

By the way, the game name is inspired by "La Fée Electricité", a work of art which was celebrating a power scientists and engineers were finally able to control: electricity. A bright future of infinite possibilities was promised to Mankind. It was just before WWII...

Known bug(s):

  • On an old laptop of mine (10y), the program calls for wrong textures and crashes. It may be an allocation problem in the memory table simulated by Javascript to execute the Web Assembly file?
